Moving an Aga
Agas are
heavy. Thats why they are assembled into their
final position, on site.
To try and
move an Aga complete, without dismantling is unwise, as
the internal components will shift, and the heat transfer
and performance will suffer. Some parts may even become
damaged.
If you
need to move an Aga, speak to your local Aga distributor,
who would be able to carry out this work for you, as well
as checking that the new site will be suitable and
re-commissioning the unit after rebuilding. A 30 amp electric Aga cannot be
economically dismantled, moved and re-assembled.
Remember.
No one likes losing an old family friend, but if you are
moving and selling your property, it will often increase
its value and be more attractive to a buyer, if an Aga is
installed.
So
why not let it stay behind and get a new Aga for your new
home.
