Best of British Food Open Week: 18th - 25th September 2010
Join us from Saturday 18th to Saturday 25th September for a series of Open Days that celebrates our love of British Food.
During this special week, you'll be able to see the new Figgy Pudding Textiles - the perfect accompaniment for your AGA Christmas - plus fantastic offers on Rayburn and AGA Upgrades this Autumn.
We've also dedicated Saturday 25th September as a technical day so if you have any questions please come along and ask the experts.

The AGA Shop Derby is staffed by friendly, knowledgeable assistants always happy to help our customers and offer them advice.
AGA offers a free Home Survey where a qualified Project Manager will visit you on site to assess practical issues for installation of any AGA cooker or refrigeration product. If however you are looking at installing a Rayburn Heatranger please contact the shop for your local Rayburn installer, who will discuss and quote for the work involved.
AGA DEMONSTRATIONS
Attending an AGA demo is extremely enjoyable. You’ll meet existing AGA owners and people who are looking to purchase an AGA for the first time plus you’ll pick up some great AGA tips. We offer:
A Day in the life of an AGA
These demonstrations are designed to help all new aga and rayburn owners, inherited owners and prospective owners. Attending one of the demonstrations will provide you with hints and tips to ensure that you get the most out of your cooker.

One To One with Chris
The AGA Shop Derby is pleased to introduce Chris who will gladly book an appointment for an AGA One To One demonstration. For customers who require a more hands on approach to AGA cooking or for those with diaries that don't fit with our demonstration programme, a one to one is a personal test drive of the AGA with Chris offering support and insight into getting the best from an AGA cooker. On the 10th April 2010 we held an Open Day with our Authorised Showroom Jack Rabbits, a local food deli.
Cooking on the AGA in the Shop was Amelia Horne the owner of Jack Rabbits. Amelia recently won Best Newcomer in Derby’s Food & Drink Awards, and on the 4th March 2010 won East Midlands Small business of the year.
AGA AUTHENTIC UPGRADE PROGRAMME
AGA offer three exciting opportunities for AGA owners to upgrade their existing AGA:
RE-INVENT allows you to add the innovative AGA Intelligent Management System (AIMS) to your cooker so that it is only a full temperature when you need to be. At other times it will be in ‘low’ or ‘slumber’ mode, reducing the heat output into the kitchen and conserving fuel!
RESTORE allows to to upgrade the exterior of your AGA to make it look like new! We can change the domes, the black top or you can change the colour to suit your décor
RENEW allows you to trade in your existing AGA against a new model. Your existing AGA will be recycled and will form part of a new one. Indeed, over 70% of an AGA comes from recycled material.
DIRECTIONS TO THE AGA SHOP DERBY
From M1 (junction 25)
At the large roundabout (pentagon island) follow the road for City Centre North. – Follow right hand lanes that will take you under the bridge and follow the A52 signposted Ashbourne. Just ahead the road divides into two - A52 to the left and A6 Matlock to the right – Bear left and you will pass the Aga Shop on the left hand side.
From A23 or Ashbourne A52
Follow the A38 or A52 until you approach a large roundabout with an Esso petrol station with a Macdonald’s restaurant. Follow signs for 'City Centre' from the roundabout. Follow this road (Ashbourne Road) as far as you can until you turn into Bridge Street, then bear left into Agard Street. At T-junction turn left, you will see Radio derby ahead on your left. Take a right turn at the lights, signed for Chapel street car park. Turn left into Chapel Street for multi-storey car park - On foot turn left out of the car park then proceed right at the corner to the AGA Shop.
