Supporting our Local Food Heroes!

The Aga Local Life campaign came to Bath on the 13th September, with our shop transforming itself into a flurry of activity - all aimed at promoting and supporting our Local Food Heroes! With demonstrations, talks and even colouring competitions (for our little fans), there was something for everyone!

Aga demonstrator, James McIntosh proved to be a wizz in our kitchen, drawing in food enthusiasts with his selection of Aga cooked dishes, including a delicious Roast pork, and beautiully decorated Strawberry cake. Much of his inspiration came from the top notch ingredients that were supplied by our Local Food Heroes - Sheepdrove Organic Farm (with succulent meats) and Caste Farm Organics (producers of fresh fruit and vegetables).

The veratile range of K-Mix blenders and mixers got a star demonstration, with demonstrator Carol showing just what they can do. We were also proud to be hosting talks on the benefits of organic foods, and a carving masterclass - all thanks to the knowledge and enthiusiasm of Graham Symes of Sheepdrove Farm and Jo Edwards of Castle Farm.

From start to finish, we had a constant stream of cheery visitors, eager to find out more about our local producers and of course some handy Aga cookery tips!
